How Big Oil misled the public into believing plastic would be recycled

NPR digs in to the sorry state of plastics recycling and the fact that the oil and plastics companies have known this for decades, pushing the recycling message anyhow. Plastics last a very long time in landfills (and, sadly, in the oceans).

DBCore generates database code and UI

DBCore is an interesting project for getting a REST API and TypeScript/React UI going quickly. It generates code for the backend and all, and you can choose to “eject” DBCore at any time.
