My new book: Dragon Country is out now

Back in July, I introduced my new book, Chasing the Gnome. That’s old news. My second 11 Quests book is now available around the world!

Dragon Country picks up right where _Chasing the Gnome _left off. Which is a good thing, becauseChasing the Gnome left off with something of a cliffhanger.

How could I possibly have written and published Dragon Country so quickly? After all, it’s been less than three months. It turns out that I wrote the first three 11 Quests books at one time. So, the time between books represents time spent editing, making covers and just generally prepping things (all in my spare time). I’m hoping to have book 3, Culpepper’s Statue, ready for sale even more quickly.

You’ll be able to hear about my adventures in self-publishing, at least in a very condensed form, next month at Ignite Ann Arbor 7.

Early reviews from the kids who have read Dragon Country have been even better than Chasing the Gnome… which, is only natural sinceDragon Country can dive straight into the action whereas Chasing the Gnome had to introduce everything.

A real gem for young fantasy lovers who are reading chapter books on their own.
