OpenShot video editor

OpenShot is an open source, cross-platform video editor with a bunch of new effects in its latest (2.6) version. It has the ability to track objects in the video and do sophisticated stabilization.

Illlustrations free artwork

Note the third “L” in Illlustrations, which is not an awesome name. What it is, however, is a nice collection of free-to-use artwork with a good cartoony art style. A couple of HN comments noted that some art, like the Iron Man mask, might run afoul of other company’s IP.
